Skyholm is a single family home that explores many energy efficient design strategies.
The features include an advanced envelope, heat recovery air exchange, efficient heat distribution, and wrap-around enclosed decks on three sides to provide protection from the persistent winds. Skyholm formed the basis for a successful application to the Provincial “Super Efficient New Construction” grant program to design and build Bedford Road House, a Certified PassiveHouse in Nelson BC.
