Lukas worked with members of the Cover Architecture team, Kootenay Kids, Selkirk College, and renowned childcare Architect Peter Turje, to design this childcare at Selkirk College.
It accommodates 24 school age children in a beautiful light filled building, designed to meet step code 4 equivalency. The floor plan is oriented to the south and large windows open to the adjacent play yard. The exterior is clad in Larch which has been allowed to weather naturally,and a corrugated steel skirt, for durability.
